Jennifer Okubo joined the Law Office of Stephen H. Reese in September of 2015. She received her law degree from the Willamette University College of Law and earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Human Resource Management from the University of Hawaii Shidler College of Business. Jennifer serves as Chair of the Hawaii State Bar Association’s Elder Law Section, a Director of the Hawaii Estate Planning Council’s Board of Directors, and is a member of the Hawaii State Bar Association’s Probate and Estate Planning Section. Jennifer is passionate about helping others, especially the elderly, which has inspired her to enter the field of Estate Planning and Trust Administration.
Jennifer was born and raised on the island of Oahu and volunteers her time to give back to the community. Jennifer enjoys volunteering her time on the weekends with the elderly through Project Dana. She is an active member of the Honolulu Japanese Chamber of Commerce and currently serves on their Women’s Diversity Initiative Committee helping to support and grow the membership of women in the Chamber. Jennifer is also a member of the Honolulu Japanese Junior Chamber of Commerce, and the past fundraising chair of the Nisei Veterans Legacy.
